Kristin W. Oswald, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, AIF®

 Kristin is the owner of Planning Partners, LLC, a small financial planning firm located in Canton, CT.  She works closely with more than 300 individuals, families and small businesses all over the U.S. as they plan for their financial future.

Kristin has been a full-time financial advisor and money counselor with Planning Partners, LLC for over 22 years and enjoys helping people with money matters.  The firm has hosted seminars on a variety of financial topics including “Women & Investing” and “Organize Your Financial Life”. She works with clients to help them diversify their portfolios with investment and insurance products, keeping them on track with their financial goals by providing advice through every stage of their lives. This focus tends to lead to multi-generational client relationships within families.

Kristin’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM certification was earned in March, 2002 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary certification in February, 2016.  She keeps up-to-date with continuing education requirements for all of her licenses and certifications.  With over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry, Kristin’s professional career started in June, 1985 at Travelers Life & Annuity after graduating cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a dual degree in Economics & Psychology. 

As an Investment Advisor Representative of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, Kristin offers a variety of investment and advisory services including financial planning.  Having an insurance license allows her to sell Life, Annuity and Health insurance when appropriate.

Having lived in Collinsville for almost 30 years has allowed Kristin to volunteer with many non-profits including the Canton Chamber of Commerce (President 2007-2009), First Congregational Church Canton Center, and the Canton Food Bank.  She has also served on a number of town committees and was honored with the Business Person of the Year Award from the Canton Chamber of Commerce in 2014*.  Kristin has two adult daughters, April and Charlotte, who live nearby and fill her heart.
